Overview

The Folly Naivasha is a bolt-hole-like tower off Moi South Lake Road converted from a water tank. It is part of the Sungura brand and is set in a wildlife sanctuary. The surrounding features green fields dotted with wildlife and stunning views of Mt. Longonot.

Accommodation

The Folly Naivasha has one double room which is en-suite and two pull-out futons. It is ideal for couples or small families of four. However, it is not suitable for very young children. At the top of the tower is a seating area where one can take in the surrounding view as one enjoys sundowners or a meal or just lounging. The Folly Naivasha also comes with a kitchen that has a microwave oven and a small gas cooker. Free cleaning services are available and a cook is available on request.

Activities

Being situated within a wildlife sanctuary means game viewing is quite easy. There are zebras, giraffes, gazelles, hippos, and occasionally buffalos too. One can explore the grounds or walk down to the lake for a picnic and other lake activities. The Folly Naivasha is also conveniently located half an hour away from Mt. Longonot, 20 minutes away from Hell’s Gate National Park, and is also in close proximity to other areas of interest in Naivasha.
