Overview
Ole Itiko Cottages, also known as Ol Joto Cottages, is a self-catering cottage destination located in Naivasha. Specifically, in Kongoni past Oserian Flower Farms on the famous Moi South Lake Road. It is situated within Kinja Estate which is typified by acacia woodland and is home to over 300 bird species and other wild animals. The cottages are set on a lush green patch that overlooks Lake Oloiden and the whole setting is calm and serene ideal for a relaxing weekend with family or friends. There is ample security as the site is within a residential area.
Accommodation
Ole Itiko Cottages can accommodate 22+ guests in two main cottages namely Ole Itiko Cottage One and the New Apartment-style Cottages.
Ole Itiko Cottage One: The cottage has three double bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate six guests, i.e., two guests in each bedroom. Further still, a couple of sofa beds are available for additional guests. Ole Itiko Cottage One has a fully equipped modern kitchen, a dining area, a lounge area with a fireplace and private verandah, free Wi-Fi, and a TV.
New Apartment-style Cottages: This cottage complex features four 2-bedroom cottages in a storeyed modern building that still features rustic-style elements to further enhance the relaxing countryside safari theme. Each apartment is self-contained with a fully equipped modern kitchen, lounge area, dining area, verandah, TV with DSTV connectivity, and free Wi-Fi.
Activities
At Ole Itiko, how one chooses to pass the time is only limited by one’s imagination. From nature walks to the lake to birdwatching, barbecues, activities on the lush green yard as well as excursions to nearby attractions in the greater Naivasha area.
Ole Itiko Cottages Rates
Ole Itiko Cottage One goes for KES 20,000/- per night. That means that at full capacity of six guests then each person pays about KES 3,300/- per night. The New Apartment-style Cottages go for KES 15,000/- per night, i.e., KES 7,500/- per person in a two-bedroom unit. Additional guests on sofa beds at KES 2,500/- per night. Rates are inclusive of a cook and cleaner.
