Overview
Oilepo Cottage is a four-bedroom maisonette located within the private estate of The Great Rift Valley Lodge along Moi North Lake Road in Naivasha. The cottage offers up a splendid view of Lake Naivasha, The Great Rift Valley, and Mt. Longonot. The environment is serene making the cottage an ideal spot for a relaxing getaway.
Accommodation
Oilepo cottage has a total of four bedrooms, two on each floor. Therefore, the cottage comfortably sleeps eight guests, two in each bedroom. A mattress and sofa bed are available to sleep two extra guests if required. Furthermore, each floor can be rented out separately as each unit is self-sufficient, i.e., both units have their own kitchens. Thus, a group of four to six guests can rent out only one floor thereby saving on the cost of renting out the entire cottage.
Guests can cook their own meals or eat at the restaurant at The Great Rift Valley Lodge. Worth noting is that one has to reserve their table at the restaurant at the reception in advance.
Other Amenities and Activities
Being located within The Great Rift Valley Lodge, guests at Oilepo Cottage have access to all the amenities at the lodge though additional costs may apply. Some of the amenities include a swimming pool, 18-hole championship golf course, tennis court, restaurant, bar/lounge, gift shops or newsstand, 24-hour front desk, currency exchange, dry cleaning service, towels provided, parking, and internet. Guests can also do biking or have a massage at the lodge.
Oilepo Cottage Rates
The entire four-bedroom cottage goes for KES 28,000 per night. Renting either one of the two-bedroom floors is KES 17,000 per night. Both rates are on self-catering. Guests can either cook for themselves (or hire a chef at approximately KES 2,000 per day) or eat at the restaurant at The Great Rift Valley Lodge.
