Overview
Masai Mara Sopa Lodge is one of the earliest safari lodges to be established in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, which explains why its gardens and trees are so lush and mature.
It is situated high on the slopes of the Oloolaimutia Hills. The remarkably large public area buildings and the swimming pool are located in the middle of the buildings, which are all constructed in the style of traditional African round huts with conical roofs.
Accommodation
Each of the 50 circular structures at the Lodge contains two rooms. Masai Mara Sopa Lodge has 50 cottages, and eight of them have connecting rooms.
The honeymoon suite is located at the top of the building and offers a panoramic outlook. This enormous suite contains a sunken bath, a shower, and a king-size bed.
A sizable verandah is ideal for enjoying intimate dinners or watching the sunset.
At Masai Mara Sopa Lodge, there are 12 suites, each with a large living space, roomy bedroom with one king-size bed or two queen-size beds, mosquito nets, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a coffee table with seats, and a mini-bar upon request.
Standard accommodations at the Masai Mara Sopa Lodge offer either one king-size bed or two queen size beds with musquito nets and en-suite bathrooms with shower. Each has a verandah with two safari chairs.

Dining and Other Amenities
If you’d rather eat outside on a terrace made of wood instead of at tables covered in umbrellas, the Masai Mara Sopa Lodge dining room also has that option.
Every other night, here, they offer the visitors an Africa Night Food Extravaganza, which combines the best of traditional African cuisine with whatever the executive chef deems to be the greatest to totally satiate your desire.
The Ol Murrani Bar is a standalone building located below the pool that also has a nearby outdoor campfire place. The actual bar itself offers a really cozy atmosphere, a sports-specific screen, and a pool table. Additionally, it features a sizable outdoor timber deck from which you can watch hyenas, mongooses, and honey badgers as they come to eat the meat we leave out for them each evening.
The Masai Mara Sopa Lodge Jumbo Bar is the ideal spot to spend an evening with family or friends before or after supper because of its pleasant atmosphere, free form cowrie shell and bead encrusted counter, back-lit alcoholic options, and excessively plush bar chairs.

Activities
Some of the activities to take part in while in Masai Mara Sopa Lodge include, game drives, bush dining, bird watching, nature walks, hot air ballon safaris and card & board games.
