Masai Mara Sopa Lodge is one of the earliest safari lodges to be established in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, which explains why its gardens and trees are so lush and mature. It is situated high on the slopes of the Oloolaimutia Hills. The remarkably large public area buildings and the swimming pool are located in the middle of the buildings, which are all constructed in the style of traditional African round huts with conical roofs.
