They provide a location unmatched by few other hotels in the world: positioned high on a bush-covered hill with panoramic views of the savannah and the meandering shores of the Mara River.
It is the only safari lodge in the renowned Mara Triangle.
Accommodation
Mara Serena’s 74 guest rooms, including the suite, were designed with inspiration from the Maasai culture.
The stunning natural surroundings welcome visitors to experience the allure of the one and only lodge situated within the renowned Mara Triangle.
The rooms, which blend the wild beauty of Africa with contemporary refinement, are set out so that each one is slightly in front of the one next to it, providing sweeping river and savannah vistas.
The rooms also have Maasai-inspired design elements, King or double beds, opulent, all-encompassing mosquito curtains, and marble bathrooms with walk-in showers.
They are decorated with swirling patterns that represent the colors and shapes of the bush.
Modern conveniences like free Wi-Fi and satellite television are offered, along with individualized touches like ceiling fans, to improve the visitor experience.
Dining and Other Amenities
The food served at Mara Serena Safari Lodge is prepared using the freshest local ingredients and seasonal flavors to showcase the abundance, richness, and wild spirit of the Masai Mara National Reserve.
Every meal will be a wonderful dining experience, whether you choose to eat in the restaurant, have breakfast by the hippo-filled Mara River, or toast the sunset with “Sundowner” cocktails and canapés in the bush.
Dinners are complemented by a traditional Maasai dance performance three times per week.
