Lerai Safari Camp

Lerai Safari Camp stands as the sole permanent safari spot in the expansive 5,000-acre Olerai Conservancy within Kenya’s vast Masai Mara ecosystem. Situated about 15 miles north of Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park and west of Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve, it’s a bustling hub for African wildlife, including wildebeests, zebras, elephants, and various antelopes, due to its migratory routes. Constructed gradually in 2018, the camp was designed to harmonize with the surrounding wildlife, allowing them ample space to coexist with us. Nestled among clusters of acacia trees (Lerai, meaning yellow, aptly describing the acacia), the camp is close to a riverine forest stream, attracting elephants to its vicinity.
