Overview
Lahai House is located in Green Park, north side of L. Naivasha. While it has plenty to offer, its stunning view of the Great Rift Valley stands out. It is set in a green leafy 2-acre piece of land that is surrounded by rockeries and flower beds. A true countryside getaway in adventure-filled Naivasha.
Accommodation and Dining
Lahai House consists of the main house and two adjacent cottages. The main house has 4 bedrooms, one being the master bedroom. Each bedroom can comfortably sleep two making the total capacity of the main house eight guests. The beds are either king-size or queen-size.
The adjacent cottages are usually rented out together and combined sleep eight guests in two double rooms and a quad room.
Lahai House is a self-catering facility and comes with a modern, fully-equipped kitchen. One can prepare their own meals or have the on-premises cook do so. The main house also has a dining room that can sit up to 12 guests. For the adjacent cottages, the bigger of the two has a kitchen and dining room large enough to host all eight guests.
Amenities and Activities
There are board games and a TV with local channels as well as a DVD player for some indoor activities. Lahai House has a swimming pool as well as a tennis court. However, one has to bring their own swimming towels and tennis rackets and balls. Tennis equipment can be rented from the nearby Great Rift Valley Lodge. Furthermore, one can go golfing at the Great Rift Valley Lodge.
One can take nature walks with the groundsman available to stipulate which trails are best. There is a resident maid who can cook and clean during one’s stay. For other activities, Naivasha has plenty to offer such as visits to L. Naivasha, Hell’s Gate National Park, Crescent Island, and more.
Lahai House Rates
The main house usually rents at KES 40,000 per night while the adjacent cottages are rented out together at KES 35,000 per night.
