Overview
Kibo Safari Camp is a luxury tented camp located within Amboseli National Park. The camp has breathtaking views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and the rolling savannah plains of Amboseli National Park. Amboseli is a Maasai word meaning ‘salty dust’ and the Maasai people play a role at the camp as shown further along this the page.
Accommodation
Kibo Safari Camp has 73 tents. The tents can accommodate single, double, triple, or family occupancy. Characteristic of the tents are beds made out of bush logs. All the tents are self-contained and feature flush toilets, showers, and washbasins. The showers can hot or cold depending on one’s preference.
Dining and Other Amenities
An open-terraced restaurant under the shade of acacia trees serves as the main dining area. The restaurant has splendid views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Kibo Safari Camp has its own farm where fresh fruits and vegetables are sourced for cooking. Special dietary requirements such as vegetarian options are well catered for. Bush dinners can also be arranged.
