Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge hails from the prestigious Serena brand of hotels, as the name suggests. The lodge is located in the heart of Amboseli National Park by a mountain spring. Mount Kilimanjaro is clearly visible from the lodge as it rises from the acacia savannah grassland that is indigenous to the area.

There are 92 rooms and one suite at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge. The architecture and interior decor of the rooms draw inspiration from the local Maasai culture. One can find paintings of wildlife on the walls of the rooms. The furniture, color scheme, and decorative artifacts pay homage to the Maasai tribe. Each room comes with amenities to rival any top luxury safari lodge in Kenya. Some of the amenities include free Wi-Fi, 24-hour room service, a private balcony, ceiling fans, a telephone, a mosquito net, and more. The Ol Donyo Oibor Suite comes with a spacious master bedroom with a kingsize double bed, bathroom with a Jacuzzi and shower, minibar, satellite TV and video, free Wi-Fi, and a balcony with a spectacular view of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
