Overview

Aberdare Country Club was a famous homestead of an English couple that settled in Kenya.

Almost half a century later, the home was renamed from ‘The Steep’ to Aberdare Country Club and it was finally opened to guests.

The country club is nestled on the slopes of Mweiga Hill in the highlands of the Aberdare. It is only a half-hour drive from Nairobi.

Aberdare Country Club has retained the taste of a private home with the simple comforts of a country inn. It is considered a heritage property in Kenya.

Accommodation

Aberdare Country Club contains rooms that are in form of cottages and one standard suite.

The cottages include 19 two-bedroom cottages, 1 3-bedroomed cottage, 1 5-bedroom cottage, and 1 standard suite.

The cottages are suitable for families, honeymooners, and those yearning for something extra.

The 2 deluxe rooms set within The Nursery and Kinangop cottages do not interconnect with any room. They have their doors, making them suitable for families as well as individuals.

Dining and Other Amenities
